Haskell's Healthcare Consultant group, Catalyst, is looking for a Senior Healthcare Strategist, team member in our Charlotte, NC office.
This team member will lead strategic and master planning services for clients. This position requires a thorough understanding of the strategic, functional, and operational requirements of various hospital-based and ambulatory service lines that will lead to team based strategic recommendations related to market indicators in support of future initiatives; strategic redirection or the implementation of process improvement. An MBA, MHA, or equivalent degree is required, in addition to 5-8 years of experience with a well-respected healthcare strategy consulting firm or within a healthcare provider setting, including a proven ability to lead and manage multiple clients/projects.

Job Responsibilities:

* Lead strategic and master planning services for assigned healthcare clients. Oversees project activities and functions as liaison between clients and individual project teams. * Reviews client and market data and creates service line or department specific recommendations based on strategic trends and opportunities within the local market. * Partners with clients to integrate strategic planning with clinical, operational, facility and technology solutions. * Works with the Director to manage internal teams to meet the client's needs, financial budgets, and timelines. * Writes preliminary and final reports interpreting client data. * Works as a team member in the development of service line specific projects and products. * Assists in the development of marketing proposals and participates in new business development functions such as new project interviews. * Contributes to working with and developing Catalyst's summer internship program, including assisting with summer project assignments. * Seeks methods for continuous data management process improvement. * Conducts and presents research in order to stay abreast of market trends in client focused service areas. * Promotes the internal dissemination of healthcare knowledge and information through leading and teaching within the Haskell Healthcare Division. * Travel requirements are approximately 1-2 nights/week and currently focused on the domestic market.

Education/Experience:

* Candidates must possess a graduate degree such as an MHA, MBA or MPH

* Minimum of 5-8 years of experience with a well-respected healthcare strategy consulting firm or within a healthcare provider setting, including a proven ability to lead and manage multiple clients/projects.

Specific Knowledge, Skills, License, Certifications Etc..:

* Strong communication, written, analytical (Excel, Tableau, etc.), and organizational skills * Proven experience speaking and presenting to groups, including governance boards and community focused groups. * Thorough understanding of the relationship between service line and departmental operations and facility design. * The desire and ability to work well in a team environment. * Ability to understand and execute the company vision and values of Team, Excellence, Service and Trust.
