ECS is seeking a Senior Microsoft Platform Business Analyst to work in our Washington, D.C. office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.Job Description: We are currently seeking an organized, detailed oriented, and supportive Sr. Microsoft Business Analyst to join our team. This role will work closely with the client to understand needs and pain-points, promote process improvements, and track progress in improving platform operations. You will lead and support the development and delivery of governance standards and systems documentation for technical solutions across a Microsoft Power Apps (Flow and BI). The Business Analyst will be part of a scrum team that provides platform service and help desk support for SharePoint 2016 and SharePoint Online, CRM, and Power Apps. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to quickly master new situations and skills and document activities, anticipate problems, plan schedules and monitor performance according to priorities and deadlines.Duties include:Understanding business requirements so that they may be accurately translated into system requirements and documentationSupporting issue triage, analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of service issuesSupporting the development and execution of communications plansUnderstanding moderately complex information systems so that functional issues may be understood.Helping define how information systems may be upgraded or replacedProviding input and best recommendations to the team.Conducting trade-off analysis on business and technical requirements.Developing procedures, manuals, security documents, and other documentation for information systems.Attending and participating in agile ceremonies for the scrum team.Working across teams and departments to provide customer support.Required Skills:Must be a US CitizenBachelor's degree7+ years' experience with system analysis, design, and business process analysis.Ability to obtain DHS Public TrustStrong customer service mindset3 years' experience working with one or more of the following:Microsoft SharePointMicrosoft CRM DynamicsMicrosoft PowerApps / Flow / BIDesired Skills:Working knowledge of business analysis techniques with ability to conduct in depth customer needs analysis for technology requirementsFamiliarity with SDLC/SELCExperience with Agile deliveryExperience with Atlassian Products (Jira, Confluence)ECS is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate or allow discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, age, national origin, citizenship, disability, veteran status or any other classification protected by federal, state, or local law.
