SCHEDULE: 0.5 (20 HOURS PER WEEK), SHIFT: NIGHTS (ROTATING WEEKENDS)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Director of Radiology, Ultrasound Supervisor and the Radiologist, is responsible for performance of all Ultrasound studies done in the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

QUALIFICATIONS:

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum: Current ARDMS certified, Current BCLS, RVT preferred

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum: Must be RDMS certified in ABD and OB/GYN. Must be certified in both areas within 6 months of hire. If new graduates, must be RDMS in ABD, OB/GYN within 6 months of hire. Must have appropriate knowledge of growth and development in order to provide care for the patient population within the scope of service for that department/unit.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum: Graduate of AMA approved school or Department Director discretion

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Minimum: Demonstrate technical proficiency, Good communications skills, and Establishes organizational skills. Ability to respond to emergency situations. Ability to prioritize work and multitask. Ability to show attention to detail.
