Position Title: Sr Supply Chain Engineering Deployment ManagerLocation: Whately, MADepartment: Supply Chain, Home FragranceReports to: Director, Engineering #LI-bb1The Sr Supply Chain Engineering Deployment Manager will be a key member of the Supply Chain Engineering team delivering key projects through world-class project execution. The main responsibility is to lead a global cross-functional team to deploy projects across the Manufacturing and Distribution & Transportation segments of the supply chain. Projects will range from critical manufacturing projects, productivity projects, technology and robotics, Distribution Center optimization, and facility projects. Additionally, the Manager will aid in both the accuracy and analysis of project planning and report out progress to the executive leadership team.Responsibilities:* Independently lead multi-site Manufacturing and Distribution Center engineering project portfolios to include projects in Manufacturing and Packaging Operations, New Product Development, facility CAPEX projects for Manufacturing process, Manufacturing Equipment, Material Handling, Storage, and Distribution Centers* Identifies, develops and leads project ideas in order to execute solutions derived by our productivity, our Technical Services, and operational teams.* Partner with Manufacturing & Packaging Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain Finance, Brand Marketing & Research, Manufacturing, Engineering and Development teams to execute with tight schedules and deliver consistent Vertical Startup/ Technical Transfer expectations.* Manage and Lead a small team of engineers locally and remotely delivering key project KPI's, applying Good Engineering Practice (GEP) throughout the project life cycle, and deliver on project Scope, Schedule, & Cost in pursuit of execution with excellence.* This position will deploy automation projects for various manufacturing and warehouse automation solutions with comprehensive project ROI models and execute the company's automation master plan as part of Newell Brands strategic vision. Strong financial analysis to support fact-based business decisions and opportunities for capital investment* Key Internal Engineering Leadership to build strong cross functional relationships and encourage collaboration of diverse project teams. Identify talent, Develop Talent, and build capability for project managers and automation operations roles. Expected to partner closely with the NPD teams, facilities, optimization teams, and our external automation suppliers.* Automation Project Leadership supporting all aspects of Project Deployment focused on: Automation Layout & Design, Supplier Selection & Management, Integrating Automation, and Automation Start-up & Technology Transfer to the operations team.
