DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Vigilant Solutions, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions Inc. (MSI), is looking to hire a highly motivated individual with a passion for technology and innovative public safety solutions to join our Facial Recognition Sales Overlay Team as a Regional Sales Manager. The primary role of this individual will be to sell and represent all our product offerings, with a focus on our facial recognition product line of (FaceSearch ) the forensic application, (FaceAlert ) the live ip camera facial recognition solution, and (CampusWatch ), a multi-layered LPR and FR solution for campus environments. This individual will work closely with operations, finance, support, engineering and our training Client Relations Team (CRT). This individual should possess the ability to effectively present to C+ level executives, multi-task, prioritize, manage their time effectively, and deliver exceptional customer service. Organizational skills are also a must.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Vigilant Solutions Gun Crime Intelligence Sales overlay team is seeking to hire a Facial Recognition Sales Overlay Team as a Regional Sales Manager. This team is comprised of prior law enforcement professionals who - combined - bring over 140 years of professional experience. The group s experience and expertise is quite varied, with almost every facet of the law enforcement profession being represented. The group is directly responsible for developing new business and technology partnerships to create demand for the company s technologies. The group serves as subject matter experts in the fields of License Plate Recognition, Facial Recognition, Ballistics Analysis, Criminal Investigations, Crime/Intelligence Analysis and other associated areas as it relates to police operations and strategies. The group has broad experience with Law Enforcement Operations

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Ability to develop and execute on a winning strategy for the United States Public Safety market.
*

Schedule and lead customer meetings
*

Uncovering additional sales opportunities within existing accounts for all offerings
*

Identifying and overcoming roadblocks and/or obstacles while keeping a positive attitude
*

Ability to resolve product or service related issues by clarifying the customer's grievance and channeling those issues to the Vigilant Support Team
*

Regular client follow-ups to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction
*

Promote extended warranty and maintenance programs to existing, eligible customers
*

Ensuring client awareness regarding the usefulness and proper operation of the Vigilant products and services that were purchased
*

Ability for 75% travel to multiple states

Specific Knowledge/Skills:

*

Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of sales/public safety experience or 8+ years of sales/public safety experience
*

Sworn Law Enforcement or Crime Analyst experience at the state, local or federal level is required
*

Experience in the criminal investigative process using facial recognition and other identity management and intelligence solutions is required
*

Strong presentation skills are mandatory and a technical acumen for other biometric modalities and video analytic solutions is a plus.
*

Sales experience and/or Law enforcement/government procurement experience is a plus
*

Competent in Google Drive applications (Gmail, Docs, Slides, etc)
*

perience in SalesForce/CRM or other CRM, electronic case management or similar system
