JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY
This position works closely with HR/Line of Business leaders to support CBRE's goal of Top Talent and Best Leaders in the Industry by planning, creating and implementing talent strategies and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the talent review/succession planning process including facilitation of calibration dialogues or sessions, assistance with creation and tracking progress of development plans, monitoring succession plans, and maintaining talent profiles.
Manages talent projects through to implementation (e.g., executive and leadership development, talent planning, performance management) and serves as a day-to-day contact for operational progress.
Works closely with HR Business Partners and Line Management to identify and/or solution talent priorities outside of the talent review process.
Works with leaders and external providers to conduct or support 360 assessments, engagement surveys and implement other related talent tools (such as performance management). May be involved in debriefing of results or coaching leaders.
Participates in development, execution, and monitoring of strategies, tactics, content and distribution channels associated with talent-related initiatives such as onboarding, performance management and engagement survey and action planning.
Prepares a variety of written reports and presentations, to include dashboards narratives, training or job aids and develops and or conducts training on talent related topics and systems.
Conducts talent analyses to identify strengths and opportunities for improvement.
Researches and recommends best practices designed to favorably impact talent outcomes and may lead implementation of recommendations.
Evaluates external market best practices to identify and recommend potential implementation.
Responsible for implementing regional talent management and talent development programs.
Coordinates involvement of Learning & Development, Digital & Technology or resources from other departments or groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
Provides resources to support business unit and region HR requests and basic inquiries. This includes working with the data analytics team to respond to data/reporting needs. Facilitates the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. Provides informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers. May lead project teams and/or plan, and supervise assignments of lower level employees.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in HR, org development, or related field (industrial or org psychology, etc.) with over 7 years of HR experience which would have included atleast 2 years of talent experience.
Masters is preferred.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
SPHR, PHR, GPHR or other similar credentials are preferred.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents.
Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues.
Ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style.
Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups.
Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles.
Ability to calculate complex figures.
Ability to forecast and prepare budgets.
Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations.
Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment.
Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES
Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills.
Skilled project manager with coaching skills.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and HR technology such as PeopleSoft.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with in-depth understanding and interpretation of procedures, company policies and business practices to achieve general results. Responsible for setting department deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause long-term impact to co-workers, supervisor, department and/or line of business.
