Job Description



The Supervisor, Contracts and Budgets, is responsible for the transactional duties and strategic planning associated with the preparation, administration, payment, and reporting of all contractual obligations and commitments for the department s operations, maintenance, and capital improvements activities. The position will require regular coordination and ongoing communication with departmental staff, company business units, and third-party service providers.



Major Responsibilities

* Develop and manage departmental operations, maintenance, and capital improvement budgets including analysis, forecasting, tracking, and reporting

* Oversee preparation and administration of all third-party service provider contracts including tracking, reporting, and cost coding assignment as well as coordination, when necessary, with Hunt s legal and risk management departments

* Manage funding approval process for planned and unplanned operations, maintenance, and capital improvement expenses

* Coordinate with Hunt asset management and other departments as may be required to complete responsibilities

* Supervise receptionists for Headquarters Building and lobby

* Assign accurate and applicable cost codes; track and reconcile all departmental and third-party service provider commitments

* Process all departmental and third-party service provider invoices and construction pay applications

* Code and track all PCard charges to operations, maintenance, and capital improvement budgets

* Other duties as assigned

Required Skills

* Ability to effectively communicate with department staff, campus clients, property tenants, and service providers

* Self-starter and self-motivated

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Strong analytical skills

* Manage information with accuracy and critical attention to detail

* Effective time management

* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and activities

* Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint; SAP or similar ERP software knowledge preferred

Required Experience

* Bachelor s degree required

* Five plus years of experience in accounting, job cost accounting, and/or similar financial responsibilities

* Previous supervisory experience is preferred
