JOB DESCRIPTIONReporting to the Associate Director Nursing, and under the direction of the Coordinators or designee, the Surgical Technician functions as a member of the intraoperative healthcare team. He/she performs specific tasks to assist the surgical team and is competent to provide care for infants to geriatric patient population.
Full-Time Nights (.9 FTE 36 hours/wk); Night, weekend and holiday call requirements.
Previous Surgical technician experience required. Previous Labor & Delivery experience preferred. Completion of an Accredited Surgical Technician program required. Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
