JOB DESCRIPTIONJOB SUMMARY
The Strategic Planning Director-SVP is responsible for leading a small team of Strategic Planners, Senior Planners, and Associate Planners, while serving as strategic lead in developing communication strategy for new and existing business opportunities. The Director-SVP mentors planners in understanding and monitoring a variety of therapeutic areas and treatment trends.
Provide thought leadership, conduct insight mining and literature reviews, lead market research, create discussion guides, draws conclusions from information obtained
Conduct physician interviews, craft the story, present at new business pitched
Moderate and design Workshops
Design and facilitate internal workshops and client workshops.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrate strong understanding of pharmaceutical brand marketing and promotional strategy
Ability to apply past experiences to brand challenges
Strong customer insight mining skills, designing, conducting and analyzing research
Serve as consultant for clients on qual/quant research design, methodology and results
Strategic leadership on all aspects of existing business on large accounts
Lead brand and creative strategy development (e.g. positioning, targeting, creative brief)
Strategic leadership on all aspects of new business
New business pitch presentation showmanship
Lead the design and facilitation of client workshops (e.g. positioning workshops)
Develop client relationships
Manage and grow small team of direct reports in terms of delegating projects and employee career development
Mentor junior team members as they support individual on new/existing business projects
Strong multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
