Job Title
Tech Support Specialist I


Job Responsibilities:

- Assess and troubleshot software platforms, multi-tier web applications written in Java, etc.

- Assess architecture and current hardware limitations and recommending solutions.

- Troubleshoot JavaScript interfaces within NextGen Connect and resolve errors relating to data processing.

- Take an active role in cross-departmental projects when needed.

- Liaise with company's clients for prompt rectification of any problems or emergencies as needed relating to the NextGen Connected Health Solutions technology stack.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Preferred, Field of Study: Computer Science

- 5 plus years of experience in software engineering or related experience as a software support engineer

- Knowledge of open source systems software, protocols, components, and standards, such as Linux.

- Experience with Java and JavaScript

- Experience with any RDBMS [e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MSSQL Server]

Work on a variety of technologies within the Nextgen Connected Health Solutions technology stack assisting customers in troubleshooting technical problems and providing prompt resolutions to issues presented. Investigate and detect potential concerns within the different applications and frameworks and presenting concerns to the R&D team.
