Mechanic Trainee / Apprentice (Part-Time)

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Technician, Co-Op (Part-Time).
The Co-Op program provides part-time employment opportunities for trade school students at Sunbelt Rentals locations. This will allow students to apply skills learned in their programs of study while getting paid.
Education or experience that prepares you for success:
* Must be enrolled in an accredited trade school for heavy equipment, diesel or power generation
* Within 6 months of expected graduation
* Completed the following pre-requisite courses:
* Hydraulics Fundamentals
* Electrical Fundamentals
* Basic Diagnostics OR Engines Fundamentals
* Preference given to students with experience or exposure to mechanical repairs or equipment operations (Forklift and/or AWP certified, if possible)
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:
* Mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work in fast paced environment with changing priorities
The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 25 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors when required by the job.
