JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Conducts regular inventory counts to comply with cycle count requirements. Supports the daily needs of the Material Center as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts on a regular, on-going basis.
Visually inspect materials for damages or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor.
Participate in Safety Training and actively comply with safety policies and practices.
Participate in Lean/Six Sigma activities in own work area as well as events for other areas to enhance cross-functional problem solving.
Collaborate in team meetings and activities and support as appropriate.
Perform Projects for process improvement as needed.
Perform daily customer service functions related to the receiving and issuing of materials to and from manufacturing departments, as prescribed by company policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned, such as customer service, repackaging and relabeling of materials to include Electro-static discharge (ESD) and moisture-sensitivity requirements
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to work well under limited supervision.
Ability to handle problems of varying complexity.
Electro-static discharge (ESD) protective wear must be worn in the material center.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EDUCATION EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
1 year of related experience in the Logistics field required
High School Diploma or GED, required.
Communication skills: ability to receive messages by telephone, in person, electronically and in writing; ask questions and rephrase statements to clarify meaning; ability to communicate with quality, integrity and respect in a way that inspires others and encourages innovation and possibilities.
Math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Analytical skills: review and compare data to identify inconsistencies and determine priorities.
Time Management and Organizational skills: flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and assignments; ability to maintain confidentiality.
Excellence Behaviors: remain engaged, proactive and positive even in tough circumstances; own assignments and be fully accountable for their success; align actions, behaviors and conversations to what matters most; bring out the best in others and recognize the value in every person s contributions.
ESD certification is preferred. J-STD-001 certification is a plus for cross-functionality purposes.
Computer skills: Minimum three (3) years working in a networked environment using a Windows and/or Windows like interface using Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word software programs; One (1) year working with Enterprise-wide systems such as SAP/Visual.
Ability to use personal computer, facsimile machine, phone, reel counter, and copy machine.
Work involves occasional work near moving mechanical parts and noise.
Work involves frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands or arms, and use of hands for detail work.
Work involves occasional reaching above head, use of computer mouse, use of 10-key, and use of keyboard.
Work frequently requires light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently.
Work occasionally requires moderate physical activity required by handling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds frequently.
