JOB DESCRIPTIONAPPLY Job Summary:
Responsible for developing new business and promoting Treasury Management services for the bank. Duties include calling on current and prospective clients to discuss their banking needs, analyzing client cash flows, and creating proposals to outline the appropriate Treasury Management products and services. Assists in the negotiations of proposal letters, fee agreements, final contracts, and implementing new Treasury Management services. Works closely with Commercial Bankers on their business development calling efforts and conducts training sessions to keep them abreast of product offerings and enhancements.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for developing new business, expanding existing business and promoting all Treasury Management products and services.
Accepts role as thought leader; focuses internal and external conversation on industry changes, business issues, best practices and benchmarking; understands what is changing, but possesses sufficient industry knowledge to make suggestions and recommendations.
Creates proposals to outline appropriate products and services after analyzing client cash flow and operating procedures with minimal assistance from manager or team.
Competent to fully negotiate and document technical components to include proposal letters, fee agreements and final contracts.
Participates in an active calling program to seek out prospective customers. Demonstrates proactive prospecting skills, leveraging bankers and their own self-generated leads.
Facilitates excellent customer service, to include: implementing new Treasury Management services, resolving issues, responding to questions, performing maintenance, and leveraging appropriate bank partners.
Works closely with Commercial Bankers on business development activities and take a leadership role in assisting assigned markets meet their strategic goals.
Maintains knowledge about commercial banking products to ensure regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.
Conducts training sessions on product enhancements for the bank team and on-site as customer requires.
May serve in the role of a team lead/player-coach for other commercial banking, treasury management or commercial payment representatives.
Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
Performs other related duties as required.

Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum Experience: Nine (9) years of sales and/or commercial banking experience, of which a minimum of eight (8) years must include Treasury Management sales experience
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Extensive commercial banking experience including business development calling experience and Treasury Management sales experience
Excellent sales skills for in person and telephone opportunities
Expert knowledge of commercial banking terminology, functions and regulations
Expert knowledge of product pricing and billing for commercial banking and treasury management services
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and analytical skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Certification(s): Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) is required
