Position Summary: (1st Shift Position: 8:00am-4:30pm) With general supervision, responsible for coordinating the timely movement and processing of parts on assigned programs or areas in order to meet customer delivery schedules. Responsibilities: The employee will perform these functions while maintaining a high standard of safety and quality. The duties will include but not be limited to the following: Update the production and inventory control system with information that is timely and accurate. Stage and coordinate work in the area to meet schedules and effectively utilize resources. Manage warehouse locations. Put away inbound inventory Audit finished goods and WIP Kanban cards for accuracy. Work closely with Supply Chain to complete inventory cycle counts. Pull material for production orders. Initiate action required to resolve discrepancies in paperwork or system information to maintain inventory accuracy. Move materials utilizing forklift, dolly, hand truck or other types of carts. Back up Receiving Clerk function Maintain and participate in all Lean initiatives in the warehouse to ensure capacity management and growth potential. Participate in HPT meetings to develop and implement plans to meet team goals. Adhere to company safety rules and regulations. Performs these and other duties as requested by Supervisor
Qualifications: Education/Training/Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Must have basic computer proficiency for scanning of barcodes, data entry into MSS, etc. Ability to lift and/or move equipment/material/supplies up to 40 pounds regularly. Lift assistance required to be used at 41 pounds or more. Must be able to stand, walk, push, pull, balance, stoop/bend, crouch/squat as needed. Excellent communication skills. Must be an active and productive team member. Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required. 2+ years-experience in warehouse, receiving and shipping.
